Max Eves has been in Real Estate for some 49 years having formed the real estate group in the Bay of Plenty known as Eves in 1970 which still is a significant player in the real estate industry. Moving on he took up various positions in the industry including being elected and serving on the National body The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand and various other industry committees spanning a period of some 18 years.

Elected President Waikato/Bay of Plenty District Real Estate Institute of NZ 1983 two year term. Elected to the National Body as a Counsellor of the Real Estate Institute of NZ 1984 six year term. Appointed to the board Directors of the Real Estate Corporation 1989 two year term. Elevated to the status of Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of NZ 1982.

He identified the Real Estate Group "The Professionals" while at Armadale University in Australia and in 1983 as the New Zealand as the inaugural chairman for the first two years established it throughout both North and South Islands. In 1990 he came to Auckland taking up the role of Director and Principal Officer of the group then known as Harveys being responsible for some 350 salespeople and managers under his licence for 12 years. He has now chosen to take a quieter role as the Licensee for Custom Residential Ltd. None the less Max's vast experience and knowledge coupled with his sense of fair play and an advocate of good real estate practice is being directed at the Custom Residential team so as to place them foremost in the Auckland real estate residential arena.
